Biologic Sourcing

Blood products are available for use in cell-based therapeutics and research. We are able to customize collections and processing for a variety of products. Additional products are available upon request, please reach out to us at researchrequest@carterbloodcare.org for more information.

  • Whole blood derived leukocytes (buffy coats, peripheral blood mononuclear cells “PBMCs”)

BioLinked

We are grateful partners with BioLinked, an electronic roster of people willing to help researchers find cures and treatments by participating in paid and unpaid studies. 

A blood donor can choose to register with BioLinked and help researchers locate willing participants for clinical studies. These clinical studies are conducted throughout the United States, and could provide cures or treatments for diseases that affect people all over the world. 

By helping researchers locate willing participants, we are all doing our part in bringing new hope to patients as soon as possible.

Cellular Therapy 

Our cellular therapy lab services include cell surface markers for:

  • cell identification and enumeration

  • cell depletion

  • cell receptor quantification

We also provide cryopreservation and dosing of cellular products, customized cell processing, cell selection, expansion and storage.
